Due to continued growth Affordable Double Glazing are looking for additional full time installers and a Surveyor to work in the Perth metro area with an immediate start.

We specialise in the supply and installation of uPVC double glazed windows and doors. We take great pride in providing excellent customer service and an even better finished product.

​

INSTALLERS

The role would be installing retrofit uPVC framed double glazing into existing homes and not new build.

​

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience installing uPVC windows would be favourable.

Having experience doing window carpentry (reveals, architraves along with other basic carpentry skills) will be highly regarded. Qualified carpenter preferred but not essential.

The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously on job sites.

Have a high attention to detail.

Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.

Experience communicating with clients on the job

You will be well-presented and will always represent our company in a professional manner.

Tasks & responsibilities

Remove old windows and doors from existing dwellings.

Install uPVC double glazed windows and doors using a range of different methods. Install reveals, architraves, trim and other finishes to installed windows and doors as required.

Seal all windows as needed.

Engage with clients and be able to effectively communicate any issues or queries they may have regarding the job and their requests.

Will usually work in a team environment but will also need to be able to work alone and be able to problem solve on the run.

SURVEYOR / ESTIMATOR

 

Due to the growth of our business we are offering a new full-time position for a surveyor/estimator with immediate start.

​

The Role:
We are currently looking for someone reliable with a keen eye for detail who is experienced in measuring and quoting, if you have previous experience completing in home site measures (in any industry) and ability to read plans this is a great position for you.

You will be required to work independently and without supervision, be fit, healthy and self-motivated with good customer relations and communication skills.

You will be attending pre-booked appointments advising customers of all the window and door options available for their projects along with showroom duties with inbound customers and also quoting from supplied customer plans.

 

Affordable Double Glazing provide exceptional working conditions and training will be provided if you are not familiar with uPVC windows & doors.

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Provide accurate and timely quotations for the supply and installation of UPVC windows and doors for replacement and new build projects, working in a fast-paced team environment

• Advising customers of all options available and quoting the correct solution

• Provide sales support assisting with showroom and phone enquiries.

• Maintain and update information in our quoting software system as required.

• Liaise with clients, builders, architects, and offering exceptional service with a professional approach throughout the process.

• Quotation revisions as required.

• Work within a team environment assisting in developing client relationships ensuring expectations are met.

• Attending customers homes to supply in home quotes

• Work with company directors to achieve set targets

• Encourage clients to visit our Wangara showroom and following up on quotes

• Communicate with internal office staff and update quotes

• Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities

• Computer literacy

• Current & valid motor vehicle licence
